Sorry for the lack of regular postings -I’ve been crazy busy! We spend some time in Virginia with my family then went straight to DC for an extended weekend to see some very good friends get married. I didn’t even realize you could get married right by the monuments. If I did, I may have had a very different wedding.
On to the polish -this is Revlon Whimsical. A dupe for Deborah Lippmann’s Glitter in the Air that the polish community went nuts for when it came out.Like Glitter in the Air, Whimsical is a sheer baby blue polish with pink and blue glitters. Some are larger hexagonal shaped pieces and some are smaller circular pieces.
After reading several reviews, I decided to use two coats of Zoya Kristen to make it more opaque. Then I put on two coats of Whimsical. Let me tell you, this manicure wore like iron. I had it on for like 10 days with only minimal chip wear. This may be my new go-to vacation manicure. Or when I’m having a lazy week.
